Found my way here from Dark City, gotten back into the hobby (40k specifically) after a long hiatus, building up a DE Kabal and dusting off my Death Guard in anticipation of the new codex drop. Currently in the process of building up painting skills and confidence, both almost nonexistent. My completely NEW (as in tonight) hobby/drawing/fanfic blog Cyclopean Dungeon will have hopefully a lot of progress in the coming weeks and months. I do some freelance illustration on the side of my day-to-day, and have professional training as a jeweler, so have been toying with some ideas about doing some hobby-related sculpting and casting projects. The jump from wax to greenstuff might have a bit of a learning curve, but I'm thinking the transition from molten metal to resin will be forgiving.

Anyways, glad to be here, Dakka is an impressively large and active community, and theres way more knowledge and resources to be had here than I could have hoped for.
