Die Untoten (cybernetic Viking zombie mecenaries)

I would like someone to check my fluff for the recent development of my Viking IG: they are currently opposed by a mercenary group known as the untoten (because they didn't have Saxon on google translate) who seem to have a canny. Knack for cheating death and surviving injuries that would kill most men. Little do the heroes know but the untoten are actually mostly cybernetics made by a tech priest who came looking for STCs and went all cornel kurtz. I'm just wondering what people think about this, and if people like it enough they may just join the heroes and get some models. I'm half passed out right now so if there's anything left out that you want to know just ask.

What would the inquisition care about? They're zombies in the fact that the only living part of them is their brain. That's why typical zombie rules of removing the head or destroying the brain are the only way to truly kill them. And the cheating death part is because they get hit in the cybernetics and just keep going.

Der untoten (cybernetic Viking zombie mecenaries)

Please explain what about them is heretical so I can remove it. Because there will be an inquisitor showing up at one point in the story so it would be best if I remove that part.
EDIT: let me explain the zombie part. They are no more modified than a senior tech priest. They join the outfit fully human and when they are injured they replace that part with machines. However due to the unsanitary conditions of a feudal world the flesh surrounding the new modifications develop necrosis, requiring further replacement. Eventually the only biological part is the brain. They have free will and feelings so they are not zombies in the traditional sense. Also when one truly dies they are made into a servitor to continue their duty even in death.

Hey not to derail the thread or anything, but I'm wondering if another one of my characters may be considered heretical. He's the chieftain of his tribe who through his great wisdom has learned the language of the birds and uses them to keep informed on what's going on on the planet. Would taking to birds, not through sorcery but just by listening to their song and speaking in response be considered heretical?
