				<description><![CDATA[ Not great really.<br /> <br /> Genestealers are quite fragile, so small broods tend to die quite easily, and also have limited offensive presence.<br /> <br /> The Hive Tyrant on his own is also a magnet for any heavy weapons, and will probably not survive that long without either armoured shell or a tyrant guard or two.<br /> <br /> I would tend to think that 4 Hive Guard is enough in 1000pts, since <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> is now quite effective against vehicles.<br /> <br /> Gargoyles would be a great addition to this list, as cheap fast-moving shields that can do damage to most things. This would take some heat off the stealers and provide a bit more mobility.<br /> <br /> <br /> Hope this is useful.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ with the drop of 6th edition... genestealers are now weaker... MUCH weaker. <br /> 2 reasons<br /> addition of overwatch <br /> removal of assault from reserves <br /> <br /> best way to run them (if at all) large broods with a broodlord. re roll his power for biomancy and hope to not get one of the shooter powers. <br /> <br /> Sadly genes are very expensive for how good they really are, they went from a really good choice in an army ith 5th.. to a mediocre choice... if points were to drop a bit or they get some rule amendments... then they will be worth it again.<br /> <br /> Tyrants need some sort of defense. Personally i prefer armored shell. its cheaper than a hive guard and prevents missile spam marines or regular power weapons to do any sure fire damage.<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Broodlord actually gets 2 psyker rolls if I'm not mistaken. He has hypnotic gaze and another useless power.<br /> <br /> I agree though, at 1k points those squads of 5 genestealers will be get torn up, and with only 1 synapse creature you'll be making a lot of morale tests.]]></description>
