Red Corsairs are not an army that has their own style, rather they are a mix and match of renegades gone over to a single cause.

There is the story about how Huron took the Space Wolves battle barge (or maybe cruiser) and I am fairly sure more than a few joined him so maybe get a box of space wolves to mix in too.

Are you painting these as the.. Red Corsairs are not as daemonic as other war bands/ legions are so I stayed away from mutations. They're relatively new so some of their armour will resemble loyalist gear ( some even keep their loyal colour scheme but paint a huge red cross over imperial iconography)

Make sure you proportion the amount of red and gold to black. Too much red and gold will give it World Eater feel.

If i were you and want conversion/thematic ides i'd check out the FW Badab wars, it explains the background of the Astral Claws who's remenants become the Red Corsairs.
