				<title>Successor chapters and their iconography</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So the short of it is, I want to do an Angels of Vengeance or possibly Guardians of the Covenant army (mainly due to not wanting the standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> paint job...and my Necrons already have enough green).  I like the the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> iconography with all of the swords, angels, and wings and would like to keep them with the exception of smoothing the moulded shoulder pads so I can add the proper chapter symbols there.  In doing so, would I feel a disturbance in the warp, like the sound of a million fluff nazis all crying out in pain at once (note - I use fluff nazi as a term of quasi-endearment and would certainly apply it to myself from time to time), or would the reaction be more along the lines of "cool, brah"?  Maybe somewhere in the middle.  What do you think?]]></description>

Taking the Dark Vengeance models for example - they are packed with all sorts of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> iconography which I intend to leave on the models other than sanding down the emblems on the shoulder pads so I can use transfers on them.  I'm even looking at using bits from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> upgrade sprues to snazz up generic <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> models.  The problem is the chapter I want to do is not true <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span>, but a successor chapter of them, so would it completely be against fluff for them to use the icons of their founding chapter but custom transfers and paint scheme of the successor chapter? ]]></description>

They're perfect for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> successors, just a little change here or there.]]></description>
