I played one 500 point game when 6th edition came out, but that aside, I can't remember my last game. This list is an inventory check to see how well my collection stands up to 6th edition. Well, that plus a Heldrake because Jesus Christ, they can rip other planes out of the sky!
____________________
Razor's Kiss Space Marines:

Captain, Bike, Power Axe, Power Weapon.
8 Bikers, 2 Plasmaguns, Multi-Melta Attack Bike.
8 Bikers, 2 Plasmaguns, Multi-Melta Attack Bike.
8 Bikers, 2 Meltaguns, Multi-Melta Attack Bike.
3 Multi-Melta Attack Bikes
Stormtalon w/ Typhoon Missile Launcher. (Proxy Thunderbolt)
1500.

Warlord Trait rolled: Strategic, Master of Ambush (aka, useless for me)

Sanctjud: Pre-game thoughts: OMG KILL THE HELDRAKE!! and the Rhinos….and stay out of combat, ignore the Deepstrikers. Oh and by the way, this will be my first 6th ed. game…and my first game in a long time after I put 40K on pause for Warmachine/Hordes. Anyway, I won table edge choice and choose top to not deal with the larger building on my side. Lost the roll for first choice, Darkhound lets me go first, so I deploy first.
____________________

Sanctjud: I have a generally long lined deployment. I combat squadded the meltagun squad to have the MMAB hang back and the Captain join the Vet, joes, and melta dudes.
The larger bikes would boost to sweep the lower portion of the map, while the top options try to stay at arms length.

DarkHound: I'm not going to beat him in mobility, but I don't have to. The name of the game is Sit-on-the-Objective, so he's got to come to me. Between my daemons and the Heldrake, I can take his objective. With my objective clogged full of T5 close combat monsters, he'll be stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm going to drop a bit of a spoiler: I roll a lot of 1s this game. To start it off, I roll a 1 for Huron's Warlord rule. I give it to the Oblits, who deploy for a clear line of fire. I then roll a 1 for my Champion's Gift.
____________________
Top of Turn 1:

Easy peasy turn.
Large Green and Teal bikers turbo boost downward.
Captain and MMAB's move over and shoot at the Obliterators and cause 1 wound after shooting.
Orange Bikers shuffle forward and manage to EXPLODE the CSM Rhino in front of them, nabbing me First Blood.
____________________
Bottom of Turn 1:

Start of turn 1, the Daemons begin to take his objective, and Huron gets a psychic power. He rolls a 1 on his D3 table and winds up with Enfeeble. That's pretty handy, so I tag the purple Bikers. The Oblits and CSM try to take advantage of it, but one Obliterator fails his Gets Hot and nearly blows himself up. The remaining firepower kills a single Biker.
____________________
Top of Turn 2:

Reserves: One Stormtalon Enters.
Captain and crew are enfeebled and terrified at tripping over a rock, so they sit tight and shoot the obliterator to no avail.
The Stormtalon opens up on the Oblit and kills one.
Orange Bikers take pot shots at the plaguebearers killing 1.
Teal bikers shoot at the CSM to no results.
Green Bikers fail to get past the Rhino with smoke.
The crowning moment of this turn is the MMAB's shooting at the Possessed unit…with Huron being the closest model. I hit and wound with 1 Multi-melta and 1 blotter. Darkhound decides for Huron to take the Multi-melta shot and proceeds to roll Look Out Sir…. only to fail on a 1…then to fail his invulnerable save (DarkHound's note: I failed with a roll of 1)….nabbing me my second Victory Point via Slay the Warlord…and the Possessed next to him felt the sadness and died to the blotter shot. :-/
____________________
Bottom of Turn 2:

Scroll up for a moment and look at the end of Sanctjud's last turn. Now I want you to imagine a Heldrake flying over his Stormtalon, ripping it from the sky with a Vector Strike, then dropping an AP3 template on the teal bikers. Unfortunately, he doesn't come in, and I get stuck with some more Plaguebearers. Now Huron is dead so I don't have to roll for powers. I'm losing my cool, so I decide to gamble with assault ranges. Only the CSM go anywhere, and while the marines murder the bikers, my Champion and his Captain can't wound each other due to T5. The turn ends with my Possessed being dangerously out of position.
____________________
Top of Turn 3:

Reserves: Second Stormtalon Enters.
Second Stormtalon opens up on the Obliterator and fails.
First Storm turns and guns down 9 Cultists, they hold.
Green bikers EXPLODE the bottom rhino.
Orange Bikers continue to back up and shoot into the plaguebearers and kill 2.
MMABs and Teal Bikers combine their shooting and kill a lot of Possessed, a plasma biker explodes. Teal bikers charge and possessed, who are left with 2 members.
The Captain (after an uber fail session in the last combat) Challenges the Chaos Champion and cuts him down.
____________________
Bottom of Turn 3:

Things are looking dire, but it's nothing an AP3 template can't fix, right? Then I roll the 1 which probably cost me the game, and my Heldrake stays in reserves. The Possessed actually managed to get AP3 claws last round, though after two rounds of combat they fail to inflict a wound and die for their effort. On the other side of the board, the CSM, who'd helplessly watched their Champion be slain, lose two more members and fail to kill the lone Captain. The hardened veterans then break in an unorganized retreat from their lone assailant.
____________________
Top of Turn 4:

First Stormtalon turns and flies off the board.
Second Stormtalon turns and guns down 5 Cultists.
Orange Bikers and MMABs shoot and charge the CSM and kill them. Teal bikers helped with shooting them a bit.
The Captain shoots and charges the Obliterator… and I forget that power weapons don't ignore 2+ armor anymore…and I forgot I had a power Axe…either way, I lose a wound but hold.
Green bikers kill the rest of the cultists.
____________________
Bottom of Turn 4:

The first thing you probably noticed was that big Heldrake (Vendetta) standing on my objective. The second thing you'll notice is a conspicuous absence of teal bikers. The two are in fact related. Now, the only play I can make at this point is contest my own objective with the Heldrake.
____________________
Top of Turn 5:

Reserves: First Stormtalon Re-Enters.
Seeing what Darkhound did to me with his flyer, the First Stormtalon flies in and sits to contest my own objective.
I have more to do, but Darkhound concedes at this point.
____________________
Sanctjud: Upon further review, it seems that vehicles can NOT contest even. So…. if the game continues, I would have finished my turn to claim his objective, while he holds mine. I'd take pot shots with the new Stormtalon and exit with the other. Then I'd sacrifice what I could to contest with the top bikers. So we both kinda fudged up at the end.

DarkHound: Short of the game going to turn 7, it's pretty safe to say I'd hold on to his objective. That leaves the score 6-4 in Sanctjud's favor.

Sanctjud's Unit Rundown:
*Captain* The power axe and sword is the poor man's version of the fist and lightning claw. I think the idea of a versatile offensive model is good, esp. since my list is so allergic to combat. Challenges really reduced the damage going at my Captain, and taking str 8 power fists to the face and swinging back feels great.
*Plasma Bikers*I didn't really use plasma much in the last edition, but the weight of plasma was great. The AP2 adding 1 to the damage result on tanks is great, and relentless made it a good complimentary weapon to the Multi-Melta.
*Melta Bikers*They didn't perform as well as I've seen them do in 5th ed, although their combat squadding allowed for more flexibility in where I was placing their shots. As expected, combat is something to be avoided. Jink saves were cool, hammer of wrath is cool, and both came into play favorably.
*MMABs*They were all-stars sniping Huron…if they didn't, it would be a whole different game when Huron got into combat with me. Overall, the list spammed Multi-Meltas…..they were all…..far too many, but then again, just enough. I did feel like I wanted some more Heavy Bolters when staring at the Daemons.
*Stormtalon*I don't know what to think. I like the flyer rules, I don't think I picked good targets for them and they didn't kill a whole lot, nor sucked shooting away from my main force. I'm willing to continue giving them a chance as they are very flexible offensively.

DarkHound's Post-game Analysis:
Despite my complaining, I really don't blame the dice for how that game turned out. I need to leave the important models further back in the squad. Losing Huron came down to old 5th edition habits and unnecessary concern that he wouldn't be effective from the back. A game like that straightens you out real quick though. I'm also concerned about the Heldrake and Obliterators. My Oblits traditionally miss all their Lascannon shots and perform poorly at any point level above the friendly 1000 mark, so I think it's time they get a break. I could have really used a second Drake to even out my odds, and maybe even an Aegis Line with a Comms Relay. Perhaps the latter is paranoia, but I will bring more Drakes to the next match.

Stay tuned for the next exciting episode!

Oh yea..... I actually forget it was diagonal deployment and that his 'board edge' was on the left side for the Drake to come in.... hence the super clumpness and Stormtalon lined up.

Luckly, I'm ever so lucky on vassal and Darkhound gets shafted with reserve rolls.

Our next game is likely tonight.... I still don't know what to tweek.
I might drop a Multi-Melta biker to a Heavy Bolter and upgrade the Captain to a Fist and Lightning Claw.
