Making good, not OP, Ork characters

I'm thinking about making a few Ork characters/units for my collection mainly just to have fun, however I am inexperienced with creating such a thing and not being overpowering about it. As much as I would like to think I could make them balanced I fear I cannot. So I thus am seeking to have my ideas judged by the community here. In this section I saw the personal characters thread and read it some for ideas. Really liked all the feedback that was given and hope I can receive the same. Right now I'm still in the conceptual phase and lack even a basic write up, but here are a few units I'm thinking of if anyone wants to chime in with ideas. Warlord Girzgutz, a unit/character of madboyz, a tankbusta HQ/unit upgrade, a kopta HQ/unit upgrade, my own personal warboss, and my own big mek.

The best way to make balanced Special Characters are to base them off existing models and give them as few rules as feasible to make them work. My favorite Special Character I've made is a 200pt Grey Knight Grand Master with an alternate organization rule restricting Paladins, Purifiers, and Dreadknights while permitting Inquisitors as Elites choices and getting a Nemesis sword that gives him +1 Strength. He's simple, he's distinctive, and he's got a premium tacked onto the price calculations for being a homebrew character.
