				<title>[WIP] Khorne Obliterators and Skulltaker</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So its been while since I have done a lot of modelling, and even longer since I last posted anything, so now that I am regularly working on stuff again, I figured I would share what I have with you guys so far. Both of these started with 6th ed and the New codex:<br /> <br /> I was originally inspired by Warhammer In Progres's nurgle obliterators, and wanted to do something equally unique for my own. It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do, and finally I decided to move forward on the project when I picked up GSI's tentacle maker.<br /> <br /> <img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-x76N6Ch-DFU/UJxDJoDFI0I/AAAAAAAAAMg/a-QT5AsNpE0/s1600/P1000194.JPG" border="0" /><br /> <br /> <img src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AtIPssrJocM/UJxDKfZviII/AAAAAAAAAMw/ibd-HoCwsyw/s1600/P1000197.JPG" border="0" /><br /> <br /> As you can see i decided to go with juggernauts as the main bodies.I wasn't sure at first about using the hoofed feet, but then actually go fairly nicely and don't look too flimsy. I did for sure know that I didn't want to use the juggernaut heads tho, I wanted them to still be Space Marines, just grossly mutated, so I plan on using regular sized heads, which I think might give an awesome impression of armored bulk since they will be soo small. I still need to add a tabard to the  fronts, and convert the arms. Also I am going to try putting a khorne symbol on the chestplate and adding terminator-esque vents to the backs.<br /> <br /> Also, with the advent of 6th Edition, I wanted a Skulltaker to play with my demon allies, obviously he was going to be on a juggernaut, but I didn't want to go the traditional routes of having him riding the bucking bronco pose, or just standing next to the juggernaut. Also, I changed him up a bit to fit with my other bloodletters.<br /> <br /> <img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dqnsiU1Ln9k/UJxFBg6hdVI/AAAAAAAAAM4/8LsaWQ3kbBw/s320/P1000200.JPG" border="0" /><br /> <br /> The picture isn't the best since I still have it in pieces and the metal jugger isn't a very balanced model.<br /> <br /> What do you guys think? 				<description><![CDATA[ i like where ur coming from, nurgle-like obits are soooooo boring<br /> however im not a fan of those open holes on their backs, maybe scrap them and insert piping in. steam pipes really suit khorne, workshop of red death.<br /> also their melee arms, mutated arms dont suit well <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>. maybe scratch build some massive axes for them and chain them around the arm or something.<br /> also the heads are too small for my taste, maybe something bigger. jugg heads are too big, but maybe getting half the dead and adding it on there. <br /> but all in all, very i dig this. they remind me of beastemen with them legs and maybe adding more chainmail would make 'em look meaner. but bravo<br /> ]]></description>
