				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys I'm toying around with getting back into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> after dropping out towards the end of 5th ed. I'm trying to make a decently competitive 2k guard list and this is what I have so far:<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span><br />  4 snipers<br />  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(373);'>MOO</span><br /> Chimera<br />  HHF<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span><br />  4 flamers<br /> Chimera<br />  HHF<br /> <br /> IS<br />  Auto cannon<br />  Flamer<br />  Comissar<br /> <br /> IS<br />  Auto cannon<br />  Flamer<br /> <br /> IS<br />  Auto cannon<br />  Flamer<br /> <br /> Veteran squad <br />  3 plasma guns<br />  Auto cannon<br /> Chimera <br />  HHF<br /> <br /> Veteran squad<br />  3 plasma guns<br />  Auto cannon<br /> Chimera<br />  HHF<br /> <br /> Veteran squad<br />  3 plasma<br />  Auto cannon<br /> Chimera <br />  HHF<br /> <br /> Vendetta<br /> <br /> Vendetta<br /> <br /> 2 leman russ<br /> <br /> 2 griffon<br /> <br /> Manticore<br /> <br /> Ageis defence line<br />  Quad gun<br /> <br /> So that's what I've got so far, the blob will man the quad gun while bubble wrapping the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(57);'>HS</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> who will put the hurt on infantry with lots of large blasts and maybe the odd precision shot or barrage snipe on sarges and special weapons. The vets and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> will be my objective takers, they can sit around for a turn or two spitting out lots of plasma and auto cannon fire and then move towards objectives, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> would probably be in the front to deter assaulters with 4D3 overwatch hits for assaulting their chimera. So what do you guys think? Is this list fairly competitive? Do I have enough man power to actually hold objectives or do I need to re think the vets? I know I have no meltas, is that going to be a problem? The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> does feel a little off but people seem to be praising the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(373);'>MOO</span> now and keeping them back to avoid giving up the warlord point but I'm still fighting the urge to take 4 plasma/melta like in 5th. So please if you have any comments or criticisms tell me I'd love to hear them, thanks.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Aside from the sniper rifles on your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span>, I would say a solid list. Might want to rethink the flamers with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> in the PIS. Maybe melta ins instead as a defensive weapon.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would consider dropping the Plasma Guns from one of your Veteran Squads in exchange for Melta Guns. That squad could also afford to lose its Autocannon as well, since you're going to want them to stay in close to get into Melta range. Harker can help make this a possibility, since his squad can outflank while mounted in a Chimera. I'm a much bigger proponent of Grenade Launchers than Flamers in my Infantry Squads, but to each his own. ]]></description>

Ratlings are a better choice for sniper rifles over the shiny <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span>.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Good ideas I did feel a little bare not taking some meltas, so one squad of vets would give me more options than just trying to drop storm eagle rockets on land raiders. As for the flamers it's for the over watch hits so they might tie up the enemy for a little longer but I have more than enough <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(380);'>GLs</span> so I'll play around with that and see. I know the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> is a little gimpy but I don't want to give up the warlod either so I was going to use their chimera as more of a bunker and keep them back, ordering the blob around and droping earth shaker shells with the new blasts rules I might hit a vehicle with full <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> too.
