I’ve decided to post another PLOG on the various things I’ll be working on instead of cranking out different threads. I can get pretty random at times so I think this way is best.

After finishing my Necrons (Tron-Crons) for NOVA I took a break for a month or so. Around the end of September my paint but returned and I started picking up commissions to fill my time before my next large project. Looks like I’ll be working on my third army (possibly fourth) army this year. I have a sickness…

I’ve picked up another commission from my friend Dave: Dark Angels! It’s the 2nd army I’m doing for him this year. Here’s what I’ve completed since the end of September:

Dave is still trying to pin down what he wants for troops for his DA so in the meantime I’ve a score of Ravenwing bikers I’ll be working on while he works that out. I’ll be digging into those heavily shortly. I also finished a pair of chaplain dreads for Dave but I delivered them before snapping some pics. I'll get them back for pics soon.

This bike came out really well. I love the way black looks glossed, but I think this is a little too much. I intended to only place a satin varnish on it and used the gloss accidentally. I’ll touch it up with a 2/1 matt/satin varnish via airbrush here once the original coat is dried (I can still smell it).

Now that I have the template hammered out, I can focus on fine-tuning my method so I can replicate it efficiently. I have 12 bikes, 3 more attack bikes, and a Master of the Ravenwing to do for this phase of the commission.
