				<title>What a recent AND heretic SM chapter CAN'T have ?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hi,<br /> <br /> I'm working on my fandex and i wondered what he CAN'T have (oh Emperor, it's so easy to add stuff but so hard to remove...).<br /> <br /> Short desc :<br /> <br />  - Have been declared heretics because their relations with "space skaven" xenos. game : Special lone units that can join squad and offer defensive capabilities, particularly against psy/warp powers.<br />  - Don't really care for the codex anymore (if they even have).<br />  - Operate in the halo. Homeworld unknown.<br />  - no "official" relations with forgeworlds, but have factories of their own.<br />  - Often come to help human worlds in remote areas, where they are sometimes even the only one to do it. Even with all odd against them ("supposedly" Salamander successor. Never proved of course). Mixed relations for that reason with imperial populations.<br />  - <b>young</b> chapter. No more than a few centuries (and already heretics. Some are fast).<br />  - Absolutely anti-chaotic. NEVA use chaos-tainted stuff.<br />  - Always answered to DNA tests. Results always pretty good.<br /> ]]></description>

No codex, no tactics, easy.<br /> - Venerable dreads. As you said your chapter is very young so there shouldn't be much dreads at all. You could even limit the standard dreads.<br /> - Chaplains. You are heretic after all. The first ones, who will rage about it are these and they probably get their mouth shut <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> - Too much tanks. You do not have a forgeworld and 'factories of their own' may be enough to make bolters for the chapter, but <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>imho</span> you should stay away from new designed tanks and probably even limit the existing ones.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I agree with above, apart from Chaplains - many chapters have 'Chaplains' that preach something different to the Imperial Cult - and this is more believable if they're based on Salamanders geneseed.<br /> <br /> I'd add...<br /> <br /> - Dreadnoughts, Land Raiders and Terminator Armour are rare, the secrets of their construction only held by a few Forge Worlds. I doubt any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> Forge would be able to make them from scratch. So, while the chapter may have some, it's doubtful that they would be able to maintain them for long.<br /> <br /> - Lack of ultra-rare weaponry like Conversion Beamers, Relic Blades. In a chapter that young, I doubt they will have many relics - maybe just the one handed down when the chapter was formed.<br /> <br /> - Less Veterans! A couple of hundred years is nothing to a Space Marine. Their 'Veterans' probably aren't as badass as the veteran of other chapters...]]></description>

Few people really take 3.<br /> <br /> I would say<br /> No dreadnaughts   (building an maintaining them is too tough)<br /> No Land raiders   (maintaining them too tough)<br /> No terminator squads (can take terminator armor on character though)<br /> No artificer armor (too rare)<br /> No Chaplins (they all got killed)<br /> No sternguard or Vanguard vets(veterans)<br /> No Techmainines, thunderfirecannons or masters of the forge (rare, and linked to forgeworlds)<br /> <br /> That said you can have rhinos, razorbacks, preditors, devistors, librarians(call them sorcerers), scouts(tons), tactical and assault squads, land speeders, and the new stormtalon.  The basic core of a space marine army.  <br /> <br /> Looking at what I have cut, the elite section is kind bare, something should be added there.]]></description>
