Metal, Resin - which kits are which?

Hi all - new to the forums and to Warmachine!

Been wanting to get started painting a few of the Warjacks - so I'm shopping the kits and watching and reading as much as I can about it. Seems some of the kits are metal (Pewter?), some plastic or resin and some are a little of both. What's a bit frustrating is that most of the online retailers' item descriptions don't mention which. Since I'm also a scale modeler (cars, planes, etc...) I would rather work with the plastic or resin. How can you tell before buying what material the kit will be? Is it by brand? I bought the Mercenary Mule Heavy Warjack by Privateer Press and it's metal - that's cool but next kit I would like to work with resin.

Thanks for any advice!
Daf

Metal, Resin - which kits are which?

Also be aware some kits are a combo of resin and metal like Conquest. Newer stuff tends to be plastic. Personally I love the feel of metal minis and seeing as how you don't need 200 of to play a game it isn't too bad to transport.

What was confusing was that retailers like Amazon did not specify. At least now I can cross reference with the PP site to find out.

Thanks again!
Daf

Re:Metal, Resin - which kits are which?

Okay - just as an update in case anyone else has this issue - I was still having some problems determining metal or plastic (turns out the PP store doesn't "always" list the material after all) . But I called PP and they directed me to this pdf file on the site in the retailer support section :
http://privateerpress.com/files/Product%20Sheet.pdf

It does a much better job of sorting out the metal/plastic kits.

Thanks!
Daf
