I know that the phobos pattern was introduced at the beginning of the great crusade with MkII armour, and the Umbra sometime during the great crusade, and that the tigrus pattern was introduced just before the Horus heresy and the umbra ferrox was a modification during the heresy, but was the 40k standard godwyn pattern introduced during the heresy or before as well? Seeing as MkVII armour which it is associated with was made during the heresy, it would make sense for it heresy era, but im not sure, and i dont want to stick some on my heresy era imperial fists if it isnt fluff-correct.
