				<title>Tarellian Dog Soldiers</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I started <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> a couple of months ago and have so far accumulated around 1750pts of Tau. Im now working on some Auxiliary units to start fleshing out the army with a bit more diversity, and because I like the fluff of both the Tarellians and the humans left behind after the Damocles Gulf cusade, the Gue'Vesa.<br /> <br /> I think im going to try my hand at posting the conversions in the P&M blog section when I get started on them. <br /> <br /> For my Gue'vesa ill be using the chapter approved rules for them, so that is simple enough. <br /> <br /> For the Tarellians however, im thinking of some homemade rules for. Obviously this would be for friendly games only. For games where I dont have my opponents permission to use them, they may be used as counts as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>FW</span> or Kroot. The rules ive made for them are based on several other ideas Ive seen all over the internet, and I think they are fairly well balanced. <br /> <br /> Would appreciate any feedback as im still new at this! Im aware the rules may need some tweaking <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Entry now revised:<br /> Tarellian Dog Soldier Pack - 5-15 Tarellians - Troop Choice<br /> <br /> Tarellian Dog Soldier stat line (12 points per model): WS4, BS3, S4, T4, W1, I3, A2, LD7, SV4+    <br /> Tarellian Dog Soldier Alpha stat line (+10 points): WS4, BS3, S4, T4, W1, I3, A3, LD8, SV4+    <br /> <br /> <br /> Equipment: Tarellian Carbine, Close Combat Weapon.<br /> <br /> Tarrelian Carbine: Range 24", Str4, Ap6, Assault 1.<br /> <br /> One model in the squad must be upgraded to an Alpha, and may select any of the following : Markerlight (+10pts), Blacksun Filter (+5pts)<br /> One model in the squad may exchange their pulse rifle for a flamer at +5 points.<br /> Each member of the squad may be given photon grenades at +1 point per model.<br /> <br /> <br /> Special Rules: Fleet, Preferred enemy: Imperium of Man.<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yeah I wasnt sure about the points cost. Firewarriors are only 10 points. However, Im not sure how much more expensive to make them. 15pts? But then that seems a bit high. At this points cost a full squad of 10 with an Alpha, a flamer, a Blacksun Filter and all with Photons  (the unit im planning to make some conversions for) comes out at 150pts which is actually pretty steep.<br /> <br /> I was also considering giving them their own firearms. A modified version of the Pulse Rifle that the Tau have made for them. Range 24", Str4 Ap5, Assault 1.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ 13 or 14 might do it.<br /> If you want though, you could tweak them a bit so that they worth the 12 points.<br /> <br /> First off, I would dedicate them to assault, since they have fleet and 2 attacks already. Besides, they are basically dinosaurs; I think they would want to get in close to start biting.<br /> <br /> I would replace the pulse rifle with a short ranged futuristic shotgun of sorts, and I would lower the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> to 2.<br /> <br /> That might be enough for it to classify as 12 points, or at least different enough from the Firewarriors to make them a separate option instead of "take these because they are better in all ways"<br /> <br /> Maybe stubborn as well? They do seem to be pretty hardy lizards.]]></description>
