The picture is yellow due to if being taken under normal house lights (tungsten).

Thanks for that it's been bugging me for ages lol.

Problem with silver metal looking armour is that you will be tempted to use the same colour for the weapons, which, IMHO, look dull.
Bronze main, red trim, silver weapons = win.

Maybe a yellow or gold? yellow is a pretty tricky one, but have a bright color really makes the model stand out. Nice base though, pretty simple but not ugly. best of luck figuring out your scheme!
