As the subject says what is the best tactic for a low count model (DW) army ?

is it gunline ?

or straight up DS everything with Hammernators?

and were talking 1850 pts doubles?

DS Hammernators as Troops is your biggest advantage. It's the DW thing, so yeah, spam those guys. This has been pretty thouroughly covered on recent-ish post, so just go back a few pages.

As for the doubles element, someone had a good breakdown of a Dual Wing set up that is fluffy and nice. Otherwise, Decent of Angels would provide some overwhelming DS army. SW would counter balance with LF support and a Jaws of the World Wolf spammer. Ah k well i'll have a dig through a few pages then...

and as for the double my partner is playing eldar.... so its a 900pts split.... thus my Q&A as i only have 15 models (10 termines, Belial, 2 dreads) on the table..
