Looks good, overall. I quite like the bold red/dark black split and the silver trim stands out nicely, while tying it all together. Two points of criticism, though:

First, assembly - while I don't see any mold lines or sprue vents, there are a few pretty significant seams that stand out, both due to the physical gap and the stark black primer(?) visible therein.

Second, OSL - It works pretty well behind the neck - loses a few points for realism, as the flesh is brighter than the hoses in some spots, but it still looks good - but it kills pretty much any definition on the face, almost like he was smeared with light green makeup. I think it might take a smaller, more subdued glow and higher contrast on the underlying skin (like you have on the legs and torso) to make it really work.

Cheers,

The gaps are there because they wont glue shut properly.
I keep them held together for ages but they pop back apart again. Might have to greenstuff over.

Also the OSL on the face looks better IRL. In the photos the flash has washed it out a bit. That and my brush isn't thin enough. Need a smaller one.

-TMP-

The red and silver/ black and silver split is very nice.

One of my favorite parts of the Helbrute model is the slits on the back (I and many others interpret them as gills/ vents) I think they could use some details, maybe a wash or ink inside them? I saw someone on here had bright red blood pouring out of them and down the 'brute's back. Always liked that Idea

Also, I like the fleshtone on it. Can you maybe take another picture in more natural lighting please? I'd like to get a better sense of it's appearance IRL.

The seams really ruin the nice paintjob. Model preparation is often neglected; try painting one that is without mould lines or seams, you'll appreciate the difference once you do.

A good base would give do some more justice to your paintjob.

I also have the same problem with the gun on my helbrute. I think it's just because of the weird way they cast the pieces.

Anyway the painting is really good, the split red and black looks very nice.

The face could use a touch up and the big gap in the multimelta fixed. Other than that it looks great. The silver trim looks awesome on the black especially
