As I have mentioned in my welcome statement, I am slightly (read massively) unmotivated when it comes to painting. Having looked around here and been suitably humiliated by all the amazing (and painted) armies, I have been shamed into painting one of my own.

First things first...
Having put my army list up for scrutiny here. It’s now time to start my least favourite part of the hobby.... Painting.
I will start by apologising for the quality of the pictures.. my phone can only do so much. I will post some better pictures tomorrow.
These vehicles have their base coat on, ready for the next step, which will be a varnish, then hairspray. Then the top coat, which is yet to be decided...

So anyway... Here are the pictures...








If anybody has any good ideas for a colour scheme please feel free to share them, as i am struggling to come up with one at the moment.

I'd almost say keep the scheme like this, maybe add some gold. Never seen silver/gold dark eldar before. Think that could be kinda neat. I'd most certainly keep away from the black, red or purple, as all dark eldar seem to have that. If i was a deep space slave trader i'd make sure i'd stand out from all the others... and maybe flaunt my wealth a little...

I'll keep an eye on this blog, and i'll comment when needed/wanted. Keep it up, and get painting you!

Once the varnish and hairspray had dried, you spray your top colour over the top, then you can wet it and rub the top layer off with a brush to achieve a weathered effect.
