Squad of 3x Obliterators or 1x Forgefiend

I am looking to pickup some Heavy Support for my Chaos army and wasn't sure on which to purchase. Originally I was going to get the 3x Obliterators and either have them in one squad or split them into to squads of 2/1. Then I looked at the Forgefiend, and he seemed like a descent option as well, but I was wondering can he shoot all 3 hades autocannons/Ectoplasma cannons in the same turn? If not then I think the Oblits might be a better choice for me.

My army right now has a squad of Havocs with 4x autocannons and a Defiler. I was just looking for more range. I have a 2nd Defiler as well, just gotta assemble and paint it.

forgefiends and oblits are not there for range, but for walking firesupport/versitility.

Honestly I would try to make all of your HS either vehicles or non vehicles. 2 defilers + 1 forgefined or 2 havoc squads and 1 oblit squad.

Well I do have 2 Defilers and 1 squad of Havocs already, so I could go either way. I like the models of both Obliterators and Forgefiend. Is one more resilient than the other?

Re:Squad of 3x Obliterators or 1x Forgefiend

They really serve different roles. A Forgefiend is a long range fire support platform to engage enemy infantry or light/medium vehicles. Obliterators are a jack-of all-trades unit that can do anything capably but isn't particularly spectacular (for their cost) at any one thing and are generally more useful for engaging 2+sv infantry/MC's and heavy tanks at close ranges.

Both however have particular problems in 6E. The Forgefiend is a very expensive mid-AV vehicle in an edition where such vehicles are hilariously easy to kill. Obliterators have the problem in that, while not super-easy to kill, are now as liable to run as guardsmen if you kill one.

Squad of 3x Obliterators or 1x Forgefiend

SolOblits look good to me in my head, not sure about actual game play.
Oblts are just more versitile, the only issue is LD checks, I quite often consider attaching Typhus to a unit to solve that, TDA allows him to deepstrike with them if wanted.

The question depends on what else you have in your army and your strategies, that would help to understand what role you could do with filling that might be lacking in your list or what just fits better.
