http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/69.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net I just started playing death korps of krieg a couple of weeks ago and played my first match with them last night and was quite amazed at the power of the Korps.
I started off with Company Commander, 2 squads of engineers with 2 mole launcher teams, Hades Assult drill and a quad launcher and while i did have some really good fun i dont know where to expand
I do love to get close and personal with the death korps hence starting with engineers and drill and so im interested in picking up a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT and mabey some death riders or mabey some Grenadiers to go with it im not sure which,
Allthough i have heard the Death riders are not the best unit in the IG/DKK lists atm i would have hoped with the 6th edition buff to the Hunting lance making them a power weapon on charge along with an extra attack ( not sure about that last part) would push them up to a competitive level for fast attack choices and allthough its only on the
assult i still wouldnt want to be on the receiving end of that charge but on the other hand the Grenadier squads have access to hotshot lasguns the downside to them being a 9 inch rapid fire range :( but access to meltas and their other wargear makes them a formidable shooting unit

Anyways any help with the choice would be greatly apreciated mabey even telling to change my view to more artillery or something else entirly im still new to warhammer 40k tabletop
