If you're going to paint your DA army purple, well, perhaps not so great.

But ultimately, paint it whatever you like. Perhaps the way to do it would be to use purple in the deepest recesses only. I think what he meant was to substitute purple for the traditionally bone robes. And that would be fine, though you have to be careful to get the right shades of green and purple together. As a rule of thumb, dark greens do well with pale lilacs, deep purples work nicely with pale greens, especially lime ones. Do a search for "green purple" or go to http://colorschemedesigner.com to play around with colours.

You'll have to be careful though, so they don't end up looking like "Joker" marines
