While I've heard nothing lately and think Dark's comment was pretty wild speculation, the idea of a conspiracy against Chavez is hardly unthinkable. Your local media might not say anything about it Here they do, and I compare/check with what relatives and friends at Venezuela tell me. And if there's a conspiracy, it's not against Chavez.

The roblem with his government is that all depends on him being in charge, without him there will be fragmentation and the last thing they want is to have elections again... not without him.
