my playstyle with tau is aggressive usually running along the style of mont'ka, this is because most of my experience has been against Imperial Guard one of the few armies that can out gun the tau, leading me to employ unconventional tau tactics (such as using an assault, yes i said assault, to clean up a peculiarly determined squad of guard after a devastating bit of shooting from my battlesuits). im doin alright, my broadsides have a very good record against flyers, which is strange because i cant seem to kill tanks to save my life...
not to mention its easy to forget some of the new stuff
