				<description><![CDATA[ Hello dakka,  so I posted this a while ago and it got refined down to this list.  I'm riposting it now to see what you all think of it,  its not your normal salamander army with vulkan in a drop pod full of sternguards with meltas. so here is what I have put together.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> Vulkan<br /> <br /> Troops:<br /> Tactical squad w/ flamer & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> in a rhino<br /> Tactical squad w/ flamer & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> in a rhino<br /> Tactical squad w/ flamer & <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> in The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span><br /> <br /> Elites:<br /> Terminators w/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> w/ extra armor & a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span><br /> <br /> Heavy support:<br /> Pred with auto cannon side laz cannons<br /> Pred with auto cannon side laz cannons<br /> Pred with auto cannon side laz cannons<br /> <br /> Fortifications:<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span>  w/ 4 heavy bolters and krak storm missile <br /> <br /> <br /> Vulkan goes with the assault terminators. 				<description><![CDATA[ Iv never seen the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span> in play,  wonder how it will do.<br /> Vulkan works with the Assault terminators.  Thats how i have it in my salamanders.  <br /> ]]></description>

				<title>2k salamander list with an FoR</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ One thing about the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span>, is that it each section is a different building.  So you need one squad to man the lascannon, one for the krackstorm, and some extra guys to run the bolters, wherever you stick them.<br /> <br /> Combat Squadding a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> squad will take care of 2 out of the 3, but you need another unit.  This might actually be a good place to use a bare-bones techmarine.  50 points gets you a guy to man a gun.]]></description>

My understanding is that every section is treated as a separate building.  I could easily be wrong though, you might want to double check.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ See what i want to know is that even though each section is treated as a separate part, is a building still occupied even if you dont have troops in them?  i mean i payed points to field it,  then no matter what i own it, right? ]]></description>

				<title>2k salamander list with an FoR</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ To be onest iv never run a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>Meq</span> army with so many preads <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>init</span> but it could work quite well. I normaly run a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> with Vulkan and a ten man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> team and two rino's with with two ten man <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> teams. I then use the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> to sheild the Rino's getting across to objectivces while useing devistators to smash anything comeing your way. You could do the same thing with the Preds.<br /> <br /> To be onest you could achive the pritty much the same thing by swapping the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span> for a normal bastion and saveing your self some points too.<br /> <br /> Hope that helps]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ How much does a bastion cost?  Right now the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(648);'>FoR</span> is 290 but that with full upgrades, 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> and the krak storm missile, which is why i took the thing, a large blast ordinance krak missile with 96" range seemed pretty nice <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>]]></description>
