				<description><![CDATA[ Flame throwers dont really miss, they are the simplest form of point and shoot,  hell its a wall of flame.<br /> <br /> Besides how would you scatter it?  If you use the current scatter mechanic you have a chance of the flame thrower doing what i said an blowing back at you and hitting models behind you which again makes no sense.  or it has a chance to scatter forward,  how the hell does that work,  the flamer just magically shoots 7 feet then catches fire? <br /> <br /> Flamers as they are work fine and have no need to be scattered, because it would not make sense.  The only thing that would effect the direction of a flame would be wind which would be another whole mechanic to the game.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You seem to be missing the point.<br /> <br /> In <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span> blast and large blast weapons scatter to simulate the firer missing their target.  The template weapons were for weapons that had no chance of missing since the distance was so close.  Now they are making template weapons that have distance, requireing that they should be aimed, which should make them less acurate <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>.<br /> <br /> To the other question, how would you do it.  Simple.<br /> <br /> 1.  Place template<br /> <br /> 2.  roll scatter and adjust the small end of the template according to the roll<br /> <br /> 3.  repossition template's larger end however the firer seems fit while leaving the short end alone.<br /> <br /> Would still be more random even though you could completely turn the template around, but this is no different than how I have seen the Baleflamer being used.<br /> <br /> I do not mean to pick on the Baleflamer but this doesn't effect alot of weapons YET.  I just see that a trend might be on it's way.  Look out for that new missile launcher with the napalm(sp?) missile that uses the template instead of the blast marker(which is what I think should be used instead of the template anyways).]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Again, template weapons like that (USUALLY flamethrowers of some kind) don't really miss. If you have ever seen someone shoot a flamethrower in real life, and I have (my friend collects exotic weapons), it's near impossible to miss. Even on an incredibly windy day or in the worse circumstances, the force that it's pushing the gel out (it's not shooting fire, it's shooting flaming gel) is hard to manipulate. Now, the "flame" WILL move against the wind, but it's not significant enough to cause you to miss your target <br /> <br /> Now, if it was like a flame thrower <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> (like, it shoots a missile and the missile breaks apart to shoot fire just next to it's target), I would like this rule.<br /> <br /> Maybe im just not seeing enough weapons that could reasonably use this rule...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yup, it's just a larger flamethrower and therefore pushes the flames further, it's not <i>'aiming' </i>anything any more or less than template weapons are. <br /> <br /> Personally i'd have gone with the apocalypse tear-drop template for larger ones instead of just giving them more range, but that is what they went with instead. <br /> <br /> <b>Edit:</b> The '<i>Hellstorm'</i> one. Also I don't think there is a good reason to make them scatter. ]]></description>
