http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/8.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net iss, for a beginner i can't warrant 160 quid for something that has a name behind it versus a kew kits for around 70 - 80 quid for a gravity fed airbrush (dual action i think) and a syphon fed one, plus a compressor. i understand that cheaper isn't necessarily better but nor is the opposite. would these 'budget' kits be sufficient for me to start out with, then if there is really a difference to buy another airbrush later on down the line? (obviously not a 160 pound one!!)

The advice from Brother Vord is spot on, All of my problems while finding my way were either caused by dry tip or not using a proper thinner.
So, Some vallejo thinner and a bit of research on you tube and now I can't imagine painting without it.
