possibly cheapest light box

Hi,
not exactly sure if this is the right section but i guess its painting related.
i was not satisfied with my miniature pictures so i thought i try this whole light box thing.
i had a big box lying around as well as some blotting / baking paper
cut out three sides, glued baking paper over two of them and some paper as white background in the box. one desk lamp on each side and it works well

little bit shadow left but pretty ok i think.
regards
alex

My first light box looked a lot like that!
Bought one from amazon that could collapse so I could pack it away with out it getting covered in dust!!

Good to show this sort of thing to help improve some of the pictures people sometimes post where all you can really see is the outline of the model!!

I tried using a lightbox for my photos and made it exactly the same way ..

Unfortunately my results weren't nearly as nice. I think I'm going to have to try again while also playing with camera settings this time.

Thanks for the reminder!

I think the trick lies in initially over exposing the photo and then toning it down with photoshop. worked for me
