Dwarves and Dwarfs.

I have recently been exapnding my Warhammer Dwarf army, and seeing as their book is old and line of models rather outdated amd restricted.
I was going to use some of the Lord of The Rings models instead, namely, those fine looking new Grim Hammers, as Hammerers. And then look at other things to see.

I know the scaling and detail is much different, but would this be acceptable and usable? While still looking mostly scale with the other models Warrior models and the like? And not entirely too strange. Or would it be better to just get a bunch of Lotr Dwarves and use them? Because that line is much better, however I played Fantasy Dwarfs, not Lotr Dwarves. Even though they are super badass, I chose Fantasy for a reason, and it would seem strange to just have a Lotr mixed army and play Fantasy.

Anyways, any feedback and advice would be great! Regarding the Grim Hammers and just the models in general. Thanks!

I think you would be better off doing the whole army in LoTR figures rather than mixing.

You should look at the two different ranges of models side by side. It's not only a matter of size, there is also the styling of the figures -- their arms, clothing and so on may be very different.

As long as you use regulation size bases, there should be no problem on the table top.

Yeah I will just use the Warhammer bases instead of the round ones the Lotr models come on. But I guess I will have to do some direct comparisons.
