http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/8.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net FLGS only has mostly GW players I've settled on playing some WHFB. but if you know my work at all you would know I can't just do an off the shelf army, no, there must be some kind of theme, and it seems that my "thing" is historical themes at this point. so I searched the interwebz for themes for WHFB armies when I stumbled upon the idea for a Roman Empire themed skaven army. now I'm thinking I can make the helmet plumes out of GS, but the shields are going to be the part I can't make on my own. here's some examples of the kinds of shields I need:

here's what I'm thinking for some of the units:
clanrats: pre-marian legionaries
stormvermin: imperial legionaries
slaves: axuilia
giant rats: "war dogs"

the rest I'll make suitably roman, but my main problem is where to get the shields for the main line units. does anyone know where I can get these kinds of shields in bulk?
