The board was played lengthwise, so turn 1 was basically a movement phase as i scooted across the board.



Turn two was similar to the first, except for a well placed shot from the Fallen Dread's lascannon slaying a RW Black Knight



Turn 3 is where the blood started to flow with a Land Speeder typhoon's successful Deepstrike


Typhoon+Attack Bike MM slay the Hellbrute


All but 1 cultist is slain by a squad of ravenwing bikers
The bikers try to assault, and stop 1' short of the squad, but no deaths are caused by overwatch



3 CSM Chosen are felled by plasma talon fire from a squad of Black Knights


At the bottom of turn 3 an unpleasant surprise shows up in the form of 5 Fallen Terminators dropping in behind a squad of bikers


In the ensuing shooting phase:
Speeder takes a hit

Sammael takes a wound

The entire bike squad that got jumped, gets dead :(



Assault Phase:
The chosen assault the knights, and one is slain by overwatch before the assault, and the two remaining chosen slay a member of the Knights. They then pass the H&R test and back away from the fight in readiness for the next turn


Top of turn 4

Eager to avenge the fallen bikers, two LS Vengeances attempt to drop near the terminators, however one scatters away from the squad, leading to some LOS concerns, and Sammael turns around, bringing his Plasma Cannon to Bear


The bike squad that attempted to kill off the cultists take a large detour to come up next to a squad of C:SM and not get forced into assault against the cultist, but i forgot to shoot because i was impatient to avenge my bikers (lol)
The squad farthest from the cultist slays him for the point



Between Sammael and one of the two Vengeance's 4 of the terminators are slain, however the 2nd can't acheive LOS, so i move on to other shooting


The BK squad that was tied up with the chosen moves back up and tries to shoot, but misses, so i move on.

The Typhoon and a MM Attack bike work together to slay the dreadnought ( no pic ><

Assault Phase:
The bikers and the CSM squad meet, with a brother being slain by overwatch. In the ensuing melee all but 1 CSM dies, with no losses to the bikers


This assault could have changed the flow of the game. Sammael hits 2 misses 2 and fails to slay the terminator, who slays him on his retaliation. However i missed the fact that the ravensword was MC and pointed it out to my opponant and slaid the terminator, however i asked him several times if he wanted to stick with the origionality of sammael Dying, to which he said no, so sammael lived to see the next turn.


On overwatch one of the two remaining BK bikers that failed to reach assault dies to the monster known as assault cannons


The BK's that had been in combat with the Chosen finish what they started, and then wisely flee away from what could develop into a killing field


Bike squad finishes the fight with the CSM squad


Bottom of turn 4
More terminators! This time from the C:SM player


Shooting Phase:
At some point the attack bike eats it to Fallen fire

The chaos lord decides to put down the rampaging Typhoon with his trusty plasma pistol


The chaos terminators decide they've had enough of sammael and he dies the ensuing gunfire to a rend (i think, that or a failed armor)


A luck bout of gunfire and dicerolls for my opponant slays the squad of BK even with them fleeing, serves them right for running away.


The game ends 7-6 in my favor at the bottom of turn 4 due to me running out of time

Sammael
Black Knights

Attack bike
Bike Squad

If the game had gone on for another turn (i had to leave) Who can say what would have happened?

Im aware the pics are shoddy, but i was working with my iphone and its the first battle report and pics ive done
