I posted a thread the other day about some IG troops and what backpacks to use. Here is the finished product -













These guys are meant to be Fleet based, so I went for almost a drop trooper kind of look. The head is by Pig Iron and the backpack is Anvil Industries - everything else is the stock GW model.

I've still got to pop some of the bubbles in the transfer and microsol it again, but he's pretty much done. With 40 more of these guys to convert and paint I'm not gonna be highlighting them any time soon.

It's so simple, just grab some PVA, get some sand, and throw it on there, tapping the edge of the base som excess sand/dirt comes off.
