Thought is that it's some sort of officially produced piece, maybe FW or GW, but having some trouble determining if that is actually the case.

It was made and cast by the Warhammer World team before Forge World was started. They sent them out to lots of stores.

HQ Bunker in Maryland, but I don't believe it was ever a Forge World piece that was commercially available. I think, though I'm not sure of it, that it was a piece made for use by GW but that was never for sale to the public. So if someone is saying "that's not Forge World!" I believe they are correct. Confirmed it was part of a GW Promo, Pre-Forgeworld, done by the US Promo team back in 2003/2004. I am pretty certain it was among the terrain my local store (in the UK) used to play Inquisitor on (yes, I know it's the wrong scale, but it's what we had). I moved out of that town in late 2001, so it would predate that.

Darn, I got ninja'ed on this twice but I, too, saw / played on it at the old Glen Burnie bunker.
