While the chimera is a far cry from the amazing Bane Beast one, IMO it tears the pants off the GeeDub monstrosity, and at a fraction of the cost

All of these critters would fit nicely on a chariot base, with Mr. Hydra probably filling up a 100x150 to account for his flippers.

Way better than GW and easier to assemble. The best part is that Michael's runs a 50% off coupon every few months so you can pick them up for about $7 US. I have been thinking of getting some of the dragons too.

I don't think many tournaments would care as long as it is painted nice. I went to the colonial a few years ago and a guy had a elephant skeleton toy with some skeleton riders painted up nice to be a bone giant. It all depends on who is running the torurnament.
