I find that the color transition on your model is too quick. This can be fixed by brightening the blue at the very top. Take the time to begin the transition from the dark into the light, and just always remember to lay your bright color down first (or your weak color, yellows and whites are very easy to taint, while red likes to stay red.... But then it also depends on the pigment saturation, so... That depends on the paint you are using), and slowly keep adding the darker color as you work down. It will take a while to get to the point where you can start with exactly one color at one end and end with exactly the other color at the other end, that's fine. Just work on color transition, and don't worry about where you end up.
