Giant Spiders (the ones goblins ride) are also quite a bit bigger than squigs. Squigs go on a 20mm (or 25 mm, I forget base, while those spiders just barely fit onto a cavalry base. You might be better off looking for the smaller 'giant spiders' that used to come as part of the Dungeon Denizens box set. Otherwise, your 'spider squigs' will be way too big, and won't rank up properly at all.
