He stopped for a second and pondered for a bit while I was futzing about for my espresso and came up with a very interesting question.

"If Khaine's like Humpty Dumpty... could he be put back together again?"

Never considered that bit before - didn't even know how to answer. Although to follow up on his question that came to my mind:

"Would that be an advantage or disadvantage to the Eldar or Khaine himself?"

The assumption is that a shattered weakened Khaine on all these Craftworlds makes him a harder target to exterminate completely, ie: Slaneesh can't just waltz in and munch on Eldar God sandwich. (S)He has to go about smiting all the crumbs.

If they put Khaine back together, Khorne and Slaanesh would immediately start fighting over him again. Who's to say they'd luck out and only have him split up this time, perhaps he'd just be killed.

Also, Khaine hates the Eldar, or more specifically, he loves murdering Eldar. Seriously, it's like his whole bag. Sure, he killed their enemies sometimes too, but mostly he murdered them, their heroes, and their gods.
