To keep things short, I'd like to craft some sort of spider sentry to mount heavy weapons on to for use in my IG army. Anyways, I can't seem to find any good ideas for setting one up, nor can I find much in the way of similar models to cut and model with extra bits and guns. It's going to replace heavy weapon squads, so It will be placed on a 60mm base. I want it to look like it could sustain the recoil from whatever he's shooting. With parts from a vox pack, and some other bits and pieces I think I could design everything except the legs and body. That's the part that really perplexes me.

@flinty - Those are nice but way to bulky for what I'm trying to do. that leaves treads and tires, but I'm not sure how to go about that. I could always mount them on the thunderfire, but that's not a very cost effective method. The search for a mobile heavy weapons platform continues!
