It's hard to tell a lot of the details due to the bluriness of the photograph but from what I can tell the paintjob looks fairly clean.

The big pink face reminds me of a monkey or chimp and makes it look out of balance since that color isn't repeated elsewhere on the model.

The fleshy bits and the carapace give the appearance on being the same kind of texture. I'm not sure if it's black with a stark highlight or if there's blending that's been lost to the camera though.

And sorry for the blurriness it's hard to hold the camera steady and is the only place I can get decent light until I get a lightbox built.

There will also be some other flesh colored parts when finished between the body, and the carapace. I may also extend it down the neck. It's sort of an ongoing project/paint scheme.
