Painting OSL on jump packs

This is my next painting technique to learn, I've a couple guides but both use completely different ways to acheive a similar effect! Any hints or tips would be very welcome!

Also my paint mixing sucks! Even with highlights I stick to the citadel range and use what they recommend to highlight on the website, so no mixing just a few pots. Because of this can anyone recommend a seris of citadel paints to look good and acheve my aim with no mixing?

TIA

Painting OSL on jump packs

What he means by washing was that he made a wash with the particular colors. Taking a bit of paint and thinning it heavily with water so that it runs everywhere. Though from the looks of it, he left it a little thicker than your typical pre-made wash. Thanks for posting this. I've always wanted a way to do these, but couldn't think of anything.
