Paint Pens?

Hiya! First post here so sorry if this goes wrong.

I am currently working on blood angels. After trying a wash it seems to dirty the model to too deep a red. Also I am going for White arms and shoulders in a 'manga' style.

Anyway - getting back to the point - are there any 'micro paint pens' or something simialar to substitute messy washes and just 'draw' detail onto the model instead?

Personally, I have no experience using them, but I think these are exactly what you're looking for.

Paint Pens?

Sakura micron pens, definitely. They aren't actually for miniatures or painting, they're pigment liners really. They come in your basic sizes, 0.1 mm, 0.5 mm, etc. but are good for lining edges or doing the "word lines" on scrolls and parchments. You can find them in art supply stores.

However, if your wash is making something messy then you're probably using too much. If it's darkening the mini, then you can try brightening it back up with a glaze or thinning the wash with some water before applying it.
