Personally I used Land Raider lascannons and put them flat against the undersides of the wings, but a lot of people like to put them on little turrets hanging down (which is what the FW one does as well)... TLLC I had kicking about and clustered the weapon hardpoints around the cockpit to bring the shot spread down.

IoM armies, and all of them come with lascannons. In some cases, several units in the same codex will come with them. Getting the bitz isn't going to be that hard.
