And thank goodness for eliminating bitz, I am sure everyone was sick and tired of being able to get just a few pieces of kit to finish a conversion. Everyone knows they will be better off buying the whole package and enlarging their bitz box OR better yet, those idiots that convert models should get with the program and understand that GW models are to be built and painted a specific way that GW has told you. That way is conveniently located on the box.

That said, I totally support my local stores, but I am not foolish enough to not see that a great many people and businesses are getting bent over by this idiocy. The online stores are not Hobby killers. They supported a great many "Hobbyists". By this logic, the internet itself is to blame for killing your hobby, so blame Al Gore as the "hobby killer". (That was a joke for those who aren't aware of it) The internet has given this hobby many great things. This website is one of them. We both have a place to come and complain about the hobby. Porn is another. That is what Al Gore invented the internet for, I believe. I can't imagine there are too many places that don't have a local store within even 100 miles that they can't contact for phone orders.

But I wonder if they made any profit on this or was it something they had to do, a risk of having an online presence.
