I know it seems a little odd but that is about the size of the Riptide if you look at the WD images floating around. In one image the Riptide can be seen next to a few Crisis Suits and the suit barely comes up to the things knee. I know 1/144 feels safer but from what I can tell we really are looking at a 6-8 inch tall model.
