So my general tactic is to charge forward while using the scouts, the long fang squad and any other long ranged weapons to give supporting fire. I like to send in the wolf guard in the drop pod assault and hopefully they land perfectly to either attack the flank or block off his movement to more opportune ground.
My wolf priest i usually hold in reserve with the sky claws and i use them as my hunting squad cause they can zip around and eliminate things that are being pesky and in the way.
One rune priest just hangs back with the long fangs and shoots at what he can while making shure the necrons don't deep strike in behind me. The other charges forward with the rest of the tide to make full use of JotWW.
i have one anti-vehicle squad of grey hunter with meltas lead by the WG with chain fist. the five man squad i tend to hold back to either hold objective or in case of deep striking crypteks. the ones in the drop pod depending when they come in i try to use to tie up as much as i can while the rest of my army moves into positions.
The lone wolf does what he does best charge everything and anything. i tend to pop him into the razorback so i can optimize his time on the attack and get my razorback in range to hopefully blast his doomsday ark.

i dont remember the point value off hand but i beleive its around 2750 or something, but its a list for fun mainly and its definetly tailored to what my friend is running in his army.
