Help with my airbrush air hose

Ok so i have my airbrush but the hose has a 1/8" connector, i want to just used the canned propellant for now, as i dont have the cash for a airbrush compressor, but here is my problem.

The badger canned air adapter, the little part that screws onto the badger canned air, is smaller the 1/8" where you screw the hose on. so what i wanted to know is, dose any one know the size of the canned air adapter?

Im thinking its a 1/16" but im not to sure, and i want to be 100% positive before i buy a 1/8" to 1/16" adapter.

The hose itself might be a 1/4" iwata connection, in which case you would need a 1/4-1/8th BSP union. should check the model of the hose and make sure the hose is 1/8th. i've never heard of smaller air fittings than that on airbrushes.

Usually the fastest way to solve that problem is a trip to a local hardware store with your parts in hand. Find an employee and tell them which parts you need to connect, and they should be able to get you sorted out.

Without actually having specific information, it is really hard to guess as to what sizes and types of connections you might have, and with a few rare exceptions, most the threaded fittings will be standard ones carried in most plumbing departments.

That said, smaller than 1/8 and larger than 1/4 are pretty rare for airbrush fittings from any company...so, the profess of elimination should allow you to figure out what each size is.
