Alternative Chimera Models

I am trying to build a mech IG force but the regular chimera just isnt doing it for me. I am looking for something with more of a sleek animeish type feel does anyone know any models that would be near the chimeras proportions like that?

Alternative Chimera Models

Below is a comparison of some transports I've made recently. The Chimera on the left has a Predator turret to make it a bit more like modern IFVs. On the right is a 1:35 LAV25 model I got for christmas and in the middle is a Claymore transport from Old Crow. I've done this last one up as a Razorback, rather than a chimera, but I'm sure you could do the latter easily as well. Its normally much longer, but I cut it down from 8 to 6 wheels to bring it into line with the length of the chimera/rhino chassis. Its a little bit narrower, but not too much.

I've always wanted to get my hands on 1:45 Striker models as they do look cool but there is no way I'm gong to pay£45 for a kit that is nowhere as detailed as the chimera. still one day i might just scratch bild some thing that looks like one.
