I used to play 40k, then I stopped, and started playing Magic; the Gathering (a card game). Subsequently, I lost my Dakka Dakka login.

About a week ago, I decided to sell off my old 40k stuff and get into fantasy. I realized the stupidity of this, and, in doing so, found my lost love for Wargaming.

Because I lost my old Login, I rolled up a new Dakka account. It's good to be back.

I play marines (vanilla) but don't have much stuff. I'm still relatively new, and am trying to find some useful models to purchase. Currently, I have a couple of AOBR boxes, as well as another Dreadnought, some scouts, and a Drop Pod. I've got a Razorback coming in the mail.

Any advice would be good, and I'm likely to frequently ask questions about rule interactions. I left before the latest edition came out, (I think it's 6th edition) and really couldn't care less about spending an ungodly amount on a rulebook. So i'll just be sticking to 5th edition rules for a while.

I'm picking up where I left off in painting, so about half my army is coloured. When I finish it, I shall proudly put some pics up. I'll also be putting up some pics whenever I believe I've done a good job on a mini. As far as painting standards go, I look to go for a nice tabletop standard. I simply don't have the time to make every model better than this.

So, thanks for letting me be part of such a wonderful site. It looks like it's gotten better since I left;
