this army was mostly for fun, and to be a counter attack for an alpha strike(something my friend dose VERY well with this new book) the plan was to use abbadon with the sorc and cultist to make a unit that hopefully would get invisibility and be super survivable, to deliver abbadon to the alpha flankers without harm, while to sorc boosted the already beastly abbadon .

we did corner set up, the mission where we both had home objectives worth 3vp.

the terrain was two hills separated bye a Vally and a river,some rock formations light terrain.

he sets up bikes on my right flank with 1 5 man. LR on my left flank with rifleman, devastators, and 5 man. DW in reserves
i set up Vin on my left behind line, Noise marines in middle, FF on right, i set up Abby and sorce with larger cuts in middle leaving enough room for him to port DW to my right. rhino on far right and cults squad and predator in reserves.

turn 1 DA
he drops the DW perfect in the hole on the right and is behind my lines, he blast the Forge Fiend for 1st blood, his bikes advance across the river and make all there saves, and glance rhino. LR shoots at Vin and crosses into the water, but the re-roll from blades keeps it moving
ML move and snap fire at vindicator, 1 glance, 1 pen both covered saved. rifleman dread into Vindicator cause glancing.

turn 1 CSM
CSM squad get out of rhino and move to within 1 inch of RW, cultist move in on terminators. CSM fire at RW with everything kill 1, Noise marines open up with blast masters and sonic killing 4 and the Attack bike on the back side away from the CSM, vindicator fires and pens LR but only a 2(i forgot to add 2 to damage ) CSM charge, they made it & he accepts challenge and looses to the LC champ :five: DEAMON PRINCE!!!!!!!! holy gak i could not believe it. the last few bikes die to the rest of the mob. Sorc had successfully cast invisibility but not enfeeble(he denied the witch it), funnest round of fighting i have ever seen, abbadon kills champ witch in retrospect i should have let the cult champ take 1st round challenge abbadon, got nothing from it(1 and 5 on Boon table, cultist kill 2 termies(!!), termies kill like 3-4 cultist.

Turn2 DA
LR moves up and fires at vindicator, takes a pen but gets a 2. lots of fire goes into the vindicator but he survives, CC, terminators loose a few more cultist loose some.

turn 2 CSM.
thanks to comm link 1 dragon the predator and the cults come in. predators las cannon / Dragon's vector drops the rifle man dead, vindicator drops the raider, noise marines drop 1 of the command squads members(most couldn't see them) the DP moves in to help the terminators death, the CSM get back in rhino and move towards my oppt objective/small squads. dragon roast Dev's to the man.

Turn 3 DA
Azreal and member move on Vin wrecking it, ML fire at dragons, Terminators die cultist move 2 inches

turn 3 CSM
forget to roll for dragon #2(just have base didn't have second dragon built yet)
abbadon moves on azreal and my friend concieds. we agree in the following turns i would have gotten to the last objective as the drak would have finished the last marines protecting it and abby and azreal lock and we played them out and nether took a wound for 3 rounds.

all and all not a bad run, CSM where running strong this time around and my buddy wanted to see how a "green wing" worked.
