My fluff idea behind him was that he's one of Khorn's top Bloodthirsters. An ancient being having existed long before mankind came to be, thus the aged bronze armor. Losing his wings in some age old combat, he fought on regardless ever increasing in mass until he towered over his brethren.

I must say his weapon really stands out. The painting is well done and may I ask how you did the old looking metal? It looks quite nice.
