Review of Rust Forge LLC's new plastic shipping crate kits

Their website is rustforge.com, but it's in construction atm... if you PM Shepherd23, he's one of the 2 guys that run the little company.

Funny guy. Could you mind reposting the text of your review here OP? I can't access blogspot sites from work, and I'd love to hear your view on them.

Edit

Without knowing what you wrote OP, I'll just post my thoughts.

I bought 3 of them for 30 bucks, they're 12 bucks apiece normally. They're a different plastic than some gamers might be used to, but it works the same.

I used some super glue and accelerant to put them together. I only had issues installing the solid end piece because I had assembled the whole thing, so I couldn't get a solid fit before I put the top on

They're awesome in scale, while at AdeptiCon, Shepherd23 used some of my Brushfire figs to show scale, and than some Not-Space Marine Storm Troopers. I can't wait to paint them up.

Compared to the Wreck Age shipping crates, these are cheaper, and plastic as opposed to resin/restic (I think they're restic), but I bought some of both, and they fit in well with each other

Review of Rust Forge LLC's new plastic shipping crate kits

The rustforge.com website will be up and running by Monday. Our web guy made excuses...he had a family...so we took the family out of the equation. Now he is working like greased lightning between sobs of fear.

Thank you everyone who stopped by our little "barely" booth at Adepticon. That was my first gaming con EVER. I had a blast and met some really great people. Saw a MASSIVE gargant and got a shirt from its creators! OH, I also sold some containers that everyone has been saying wonderful things about. I am so looking forward to the next one when I have more than 3 products to show off.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, just PM me here and I can help you out.

Re:Review of Rust Forge LLC's new plastic shipping crate kits

That is almost exactly what I wrote! My only other comments were that the long pieces were curved a bit, so i used rubberbands when assembling. The pegs on the door pieces are also a little short. They go together okay, but fall out easily if you want to leave them movable.

I used plastic cement to assemble, and saved the solid back panel for last... I inserted it while the whole thing was still wrapped in rubberbands, and I had no issues with that piece.

I heard from Will today, and they are going to work on the mold to fix the door peg issue.
